    Managed a doctoral project demonstrating that the lentivirus-mediated gene silencing of IRAK2 decreases the self-renewal capacity of primary breast cancer stem cells.Thoroughly practiced cancer stem cell isolation, manipulation of primary and commercial cell lines, assays (colony-forming capacity, apoptosis, migration), RNA and protein isolation, qPCR, western blot, plasmid cloning, histological staining, immunohistochemistry, and animal experimentation (xenograft models).Established protocols for lentiviral production, concentration, and transduction.Trained and mentored MD students.Presented research findings at conferences and co-wrote scientific manuscripts.
