    A recruitment consultant primarily focusing on the civil and construction sectors within New Zealand and Australia. I specialised in overseas recruitment as well as recruiting within the local market.Responsibilities Included:• Consulting with Hiring managers to hire top talent within the construction sector.• Developing compelling job descriptions and managing job boards.• Sourcing active and passive candidates through employee referrals, networking and headhunting.• Building a pipeline of strong talent globally.• Business development. • Client development.• Providing exceptional experience for every candidate from application stage, to offer. Evaluating their skill set and driving the interviewing process.• Understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and to act as a subject matter expert for your internal client groups.• Monitoring, reviewing and taking action on the daily influx of candidate resumes, accurately screening against defined criteria and recording the outcome of your review appropriately in our applicant tracking system (ATS).• Partnering with Linkedin and other Social Media in order to source top talent alongside managing agencies/search firms when and if needed.• Negotiating and close offers by partnering with the Hiring Manager’s and the Compensation team, (for salary recommendations) and to complete reference checks.• Marketing for the Christchurch Rebuild campaign (see publications).Positions recruited for included:Site Supervisors, Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Site Managers, Project Managers, Contract Managers, Project Directors, Estimators and Quantity Surveyors.
