    GENERAL MANAGER – DISABILITYMASH Trust | 2019 – Present In providing proactive and compassionate leadership, I guide and support service operations to ensure these are delivered in line with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and MASH values. I engage in strategic and operational oversight as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and ensure that all 365 staff are fully supported and skilled in the service. I manage, monitor and drive the cost-effective use of financial and human resources, including a budget of $20M. I also oversee the Senior Leadership Team and Disability Leadership team who operate as a cohesive dynamic team to ensure consistency in quality of services and support for staff. While in this role, I have led and implemented quality services for disabled people in a supportive living and day service environment ensuring a person/whānau centred philosophy. I have established effective community networking and partnerships and enabled meaningful social contact.

    I oversaw and directed the structure and delivery of services to respond more accurately to community needs, including developing service guidelines, communication strategies, and training in collaboration with stakeholders. I also facilitated a strategic planning process with all staff, creating shared vision, guiding principles, rating of services and applied shared decision making on services and programs within budget allocation. My responsibilities included managing the human, financial and physical resources of health service area within allocated budget.PROJECT MANAGERMASH Trust In this capacity, I oversaw the planning, coordination and implementation of services for people leaving Kimberley Centre in Levin. I constructed service frameworks to support mental health and disability programs; designed and developed policy, procedures and guidelines; as well as determined staff policy guidelines. I also provided direction and delivered according to the contemporary service model to inform infrastructure developments. In addition, I accomplished project reports for management.
