      The HR Director was specifically recruited to lead the design and implementation of the infrastructure for the change which is necessary to deliver the new Ten Year strategy of the Bank. The director also oversees the reform as well as the rebuilding of the HR function. This function is expected to serve as key Launchpad for the planned change agenda.The Bank relocated its headquarters from Tunis (Tunisia) to Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire) in 2014. This involved the physical relocation of about 1500 core staff as well as more than 3000 family members. The HR function was central to this successful transition. Since April 2013, the HR function has delivered on a new Total Compensation Framework, a complete overhaul of the Performance management practice/system, as well as the significant enhancement of professional competence of the HR function. In January 2015, the Bank embarked on a key strategic staffing framework covering 2015 - 2018. This is an internally designed program which was designed and is now being facilitated by the HR function.
