I implemented VAT as a project and also took over the implementation of other modernisation projects including the introduction of the Integrated Revenue Administartion System (IRAS) on which we were implementing VAT. Other projects were the Business Process Management and Change Management projects, implementation of Performance Management System and preparation of tax reform programs of Self-Assessment and Presumptive Tax. 2. I handed over VAT to the Domestci Taxes Department in October 2012 six months after implementation as I worked on developing tools and structures for the Modernisation Department. 3. I worked with the IMF-AFRITAC SOUTH to identify Technical Assistance and Modernisation programs under the Technical Trust Fund of the mission.4. I was also working with he Customs Department on the Customs Modernisation Program which includes the replacement of the ASYCUDA ++ system and the roll out of the Columbus Program and to implement the results of the the Time Release Study Report carried out by the World Bank.
