    Responsible for the maintenance and the protection of the Post Assets. Reviewed the daily proceeds from our Social Quarters (Bar). made daily deposits of the cash and checks into our accounts in the Bank. Reviewed the internal controls of the Post regarding the processing of the cash and the proper use and dispensing of our liquid assets. Made monthly reports to the Executive Board and the General membership. Worked closely with our accounting firm to insure that the monthly statements regarding there activities were proper.

    Supervised a team of 19 Auditors and 2 Assistants (Clerks). These Auditors were assigned social security claims to be redone at the selected beneficiary at their home. The review covered the identity of the person, a review of the original documents e.g. birth records, marriage records,if married, etc.Our area of coverage covered the entire western states and Hawaii. If frequent errors were found a more extensive review was conducted to determine whether the problem was widespread. One of the problems was the death of a recipient that was never reported.
