The Caribbean Equine Relief Fund (CERF) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that promotes equine wellbeing in the Caribbean and provides aid and assistance to equines and their owners following major natural disasters in the Caribbean islands. CERF typically provides aid when the impact on humans is so great that equines are at risk of neglect. The aid provided by CERF usually consists of feed, stable supplies, medical products and, on occasion, fencing materials.CERF began operating in 2017 following Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and was managed as a consortium of four non-profits: US Equestrian (USEF), Equestrian Canada, Pan American Equestrian Confederation (PAEC) and the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation. In 2022, CERF became a separate legal entity based in Florida and obtained its 501(c)3 status.CERF is run by a group of volunteers so that 100% of its fundraising goes toward the cost of procuring and shipping the aid it provides to its clients.

The Cayman Islands Fencing Federation (CIFF) is a registered non-profit that was founded in 2019 to serve as the national governing body for the sport of fencing in the Cayman Islands. The CIFF is a member of the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee and is in the process of becoming recognized by the FIE, the global governing body of the sport. The CIFF is an all-volunteer organization. Our current short term goals are to 1) open the Cayman Fencing Academy, the first ever fencing school in the country and 2) launch an after-school fencing program for local youth at the public primary schools in the western side of the island. The long term goal fo the CIFF is to see local fencers represent the Cayman Islands in major international fencing competitions, including, one day, the Olympics.
