The Cook in Your Kitchen pilot project was initiated by the local social enterprise group Taste not Waste. The year long pilot has been funded and supported by New Milton Town Partnership and Hampshire County Council. The funding has enabled a team of Home Cook Consultants to work in the homes of families and individuals in the New Forest and surrounding, areas. They have provided help, advice and practical skills in reducing household food waste, weekly shopping bills and encouraged the preparation of healthy, home cooked meals.
