    Joined M&G Real Estate (a unit of Prudential plc) as Fund Manager of the Asia Property Fund (“APF”). Worked with an owner-manager with 150 years of investment experience and a culture of long-term thinking to manage an open-ended, core, diversified mandate across five developed APAC markets. (Australia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea). I enjoyed six productive years with M&G, leading a great team to achieve the Fund’s objectives according to a strategy presented in advance to the Fund Board and Investors. I established a vision for the Fund and a clear strategy to deliver investment outperformance by portfolio construction, stock selection and proactive asset management. Under my stewardship, the Fund continuously improved to remain the leading pan-regional core property fund. Directors and Investors tell me of their satisfaction from the transformation of the Fund and performance through a restructuring of the portfolio (2011), restructuring of management and fees with the support of Investors (2011-12), broadening and diversifying the portfolio (from 2013) and actively managing the assets to consistently deliver attractive investment performance.     Worked with Lend Lease in Australia, Tokyo and Singapore from 1994 to 2010. Gained experience in a number of challenging roles in the financial services, property development and property investment businesses. The highlight of my 16 years with Lend Lease was working in Singapore from 2005 to 2010 in a close-knit team with complementary skills operating with high levels of mutual trust. My roles in Singapore were Investment Director/Head of Origination and then inaugural Fund Manager of Lend Lease Asia Retail Investment Fund (“ARIF”) from 2006 to 2010. ARIF was one of the first ‘build to core’ pooled strategies in the Asian region. As Fund Manager I was responsible for delivering investment performance for the Fund. I led a team managing the creation of the Fund and then running the Fund’s investment program, investment selection, overseeing development activity and operations, debt and equity funding, reporting, compliance, risk management, investor relations and Board relationships.The ARIF fund series was very successful for Investors with all committed equity raised being invested in line with the mandate and delivering attractive development returns.
