In addition to my sales capacities, at various points in time I managed the Executive Club, the Luxury Suites, the Corporate Sales department and the entire Sales department. Our team was responsible for helping the Islanders to thrive as a sales organization during times of significant turmoil both on and off the ice. It was a great time in my life and I was lucky enough to work with some outstanding people as well as do something that I loved.

Went down to Baltimore to do my internship in the P.R. department and shortly thereafter was recruited to go sell tickets door-to-door, business to business. I was able to keep up with the seasoned professionals and thus my career was permanently re-directed into sales and marketing. It was a great indoctrination into the world of sports management/marketing and I will always relish my time in Maryland. I was offered a position when they moved to Maine to become the Portland Pirates, but chose to return to Long Island to pursue other future, more personal prospects :) Luckily, I was able to continue my professional sports management career when I went back, securing a position with the New York Islanders, a place I would call my home for the next 11 years.
