In the role of Research Assistant, I studied Smoking Stigma Research. In the following role, I learned about blood pressure measurements and how to use blood pressure as a measure of stress reactivity. I also learned about Qualtrics (survey management software) and how to gather data using Qualtrics. I learned the lab procedures and how to use the equipment. I recruited 30 participants each and ran them through the experiment. Through recruitment, I learned how to recruit smokers from the community. Then, I reported my experiences in a technical report. Additionally, I documented any changes made to the experimental procedure also in the technical report. After recruitment, I learned more about how to use SPSS for data management and statistical analyses.
