    I am responsible for an entire team of 3-5 drivers and the training of those drivers. I do all of the purchasing and mechanical / maintenance work for a fleet of 3 tow trucks (F-450. F-550) and 1 flat bed (International). I do all of the driving during normal business hours as well as occasionally during the "on-call / night" position (along with a back-up driver for during high call volumes and long hauls). I am on call 24-hrs a day/7 days a week to answer any and all questions the drivers may have while they are in the field. I am responsible for mine and the drivers performance and paper work. I do all of the business relations with banks, dealerships, etc. I am responsible for the performance of the towing portion of the company, so I am working on starting a repossession firm to bring us more business. At Jim's, a majority of our calls are tows, tire-changes, jump-starts, lock-outs, and accidents. However, during the winter months, we get extremely busy with extracting vehicles from both ditches and accidents due to extreme winter weather. Last winter I took part in a multi company effort to clear a 24 car pile up on US-HWY 41NB in Oshkosh, WI: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNFwwiUGgnI Our company also specializes in ice extractions. When a vehicle falls thru the ice on a lake or river, we go get them out. In fact, 2 years ago, during a fishing tournament, 36 cars fell thru the ice on Lake Winnebago.
