As the SIA I provided support to the Strategic Information team by developing data dictionaries for SmartCare Plus and SmartCare legacy Electronic Health Records (EHR), conducting data analysis and cataloguing various data requests. Improved data use by providing a common reference for defining data elements thus easing integration between different data systems.My other duties included: i. Collaborating with the SmartCare Health Record System Software Developers to document and update the SmartCare Health Data Dictionaryii. Conducting data analysis as requested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Zambia and Ministry of Health.iii. Developing and maintaining a catalogue of SmartCare scripts and other data requests as requested by Implementing partners and Ministry of Health.iv. Establishing and maintaining key relationships with MOH and other partners as relevant to the completion of tasks.v. Providing periodic status update reports on the progress of tasks to team leads, documenting any challenges and support required.vi. Conducted SmartCare Health Record System post deployment assessment in 46 facilities distributed in four provinces: Muchinga, Luapula, Northern and Copperbelt using ODK as a data collection tool.vii. Providing support to implementing partners.viii. Attended Strategic Information department meetings with CDC, USAID, IP’s and MoH.ix. Assisted in attended to Adhoc requests from CDC IPs.x. Run queries with the Development team in the backend.xi. Took minutes for the IDeAS Technical meeting and Strategic Information Meetings.
