I was entrusted with different tasks across both departments and was able to gain exposure across the firm through going to talks hosted by the different departments.

    • Research Analyst
      • Dec 2020 - Aug 2022

I was employed by Savills to work as a Commercial Research Analyst, forming part of the UK's leading property research team. It was my responsibility to conduct in depth analysis on the West End office market. I produced bi-weekly reports and I also often presented to leading property experts on current trends which was challenging during such a period of market uncertainty. This taught me to hold confidence in my research and it allowed me to build upon my analytical skills. I also strongly enhanced my excel skills during this role as I analysed data and produced graphs, both of which would help me in the law profession as these tasks require a strong eye for detail. I also pioneered a large proportion of the research for ESG related data within the Central London office market which gave me the capabilities of conducting independent research for an exciting and new field.

    • Writer
      • Jun 2020 - Mar 2021

written a number of articles in the form of poetry on various topics.

    • Intern at Marie Claire
      • Oct 2020 - Dec 2020

Undertook work experience at 'Marie Claire' magazine, working alongside the Editor in Chief and the rest of the features team. Throughout my time I liaised with publishers, agents and writers, maintained strict deadlines, and completed and edited over 25 articles. I also played a key role in helping organise their annual ‘Future Shaper’ awards, the magazines largest annual event. I interviewed, transcribed and organised a list of over 50 candidates. This three month internship strongly enhanced my writing skills, making me confident in writing succinctly and accurately. I also was given the responsibility of running a whole editorial feature on the homeless charity, ‘Centrepoint’, in which I was tasked with interviewing a number of people in care, and subsequently writing up a number of articles from the information. This required me to have great sensitivity when asking questions and was a great learning experience for improving my communication skills.

    • Work experience
      • Jun 2019 - Jun 2019

Undertook a week’s work experience in this West End property law firm. Largely focused on land ownership within certain site plans, specifically mixed-use developments outside of London. I was also tasked with frequently analysing, documenting, and filing lease and ownership documents. This provided me with a great opportunity of what it is like to work as part of a law firm, particularly one with such specialised interests. I thoroughly enjoyed the week and being given my own responsibilities, however it showed me that perhaps I would like the opportunity to see what it would be like to work as part of a larger firm with greater number of expertise across wider variety of departments. Notwithstanding this, I really valued the week I worked there for.
