    When my HND course ended I managed to secure a work experience placement with Matic Media, as I felt that I would gain some valuable work experience. I worked as part of the Design/Pre-Production Team in their Studio, where I reported to the Studio Manager. I liaised with the Sales Office, Clients and Senior Stakeholders, and gained experience of signing off artwork from third part design agencies/clients and creating visuals, working at scales such as 1:50, receiving job bags from the Sales Office with all details. Worked carried out included the design of nail art of which I produced around 250 individual designs, and was responsible for the design the MD’s vehicle wrap design.

    Coatbridge College – HND Interactive Media (Year 2 HND): This is a 2 year full time course (SCQF Level 8). Subjects covered: Bitmap and Vector Graphics, Animation, Digital Audio, Digital Video, Human Computer Interaction, Working in a Project Team Project, Creation of a Portfolio, and Apple Certified Training in Final Cut Pro.

    Worked as Customer Sales Advisor for Virgin Media where it was my responsibility to answer calls from customers relating to their Virgin Media products, using my excellent communication to gather information and deal with the customer query. I built up a real rapport with customers, by providing them with excellent customer service with the view of enhancing the customer’s experience. By proactively offering products and services that suit their situation, I worked towards achieving my targets and help create better value to them too. I was also given the responsibility of floor walking where I supervised staff and dealing with escalated calls. Achievements – I received the Exclusive Customer Service Award from Virgin Media.
