    Worked with young, Kindergarden-age children in Pontiac michigan for the duration of the Summer of 2012. Duties included assisting the children and teachers with their morning classes in math and reading, as well as leading or assisting lessons in physical education, art, science, etc. during the afternoons. Interns also supervised the children during recess and gave them the attention and loving care that they didn't get at home. Every Friday, the summer camp took a field trip to give the children fun and educational experiences outside of Pontiac. Some of the field trip destinations included the Zoo, a science museum, a waterpark, and various other locations. Interns also accompanied the children on a trip to Camp Kinawind where they spent a fun-filled week camping in Northern Michigan.
