    Founder and Director of Cancer Genetic Counseling at Yale Cancer Center/Yale School of Medicine. Established one of the largest, most highly respected cancer genetic counseling program from the ground up, including creation of: genetic counseling and testing protocols, documents and informed consent processes; state-wide physician referral base; and outreach clinics at hospitals across Connecticut. Delivered hundreds of lectures worldwide to clinicians, patients and the lay public on cancer genetic counseling and testing. Developed and teaches courses and workshops in cancer genetics to medical, nursing, physician assistant and undergraduate students. Recruited, trained and manages a genetic counseling team that tested and follows >6000 families for hereditary cancer syndromes. Retained three of the top cancer genetic counselors in a highly competitive market for >10 years. Wrote and published dozens of articles and book chapters on cancer genetic counseling and testing. Created and produces a podcast series called, ‘Cancer Bytes’ which is downloadable on iTunes. Interviewed on a regular basis by worldwide media outlets on all topics related to cancer genetics with recent interviews by NPR, BBC, PBS Newshour, NYTimes, and USAToday.
