    As graphic designer at Quivertree Publications, I advanced my craft in print and layout design. Working on large projects of 200+ page books, adhering to print deadlines and liaising with authors, photographers, editors, proofreaders and printers, taught me efficient time management and organisational skills. Along with conceptualising design layouts, I created publicity and marketing material for the promotion of books, including posters, brochures, roll up banners, social media posts and newsletters. This role required me to be detail orientated as my responsibilities included the accurate implementation of style guides to ensure consistency in print publications. In summary, my duties included:- The production of attractive and effective designs for a variety of projects, including the design of book layouts, publicity materials and promotional assets.- Conceptualisation of social media posts, Mailchimp newsletters and marketing materials as well as execute in-house design work.- Liaising effectively with team members and orchestrating freelance editors, proofreaders, translators, photographers, authors and printers.- Maintaining and updating the Wordpress website, including the creatoin of web banners

    My role at Condé Nast House & Garden magazine required me to adhere to strict brand guidelines within the magazine's corporate identity and enabled me to advance my skills in DTP. As junior designer, I executed picture editing, including colour corrections of images and the preparation of documents for print and reproduction.In summary:- Responsible for the preparation of documents for print, including reviewing proofs, as well as general office assistance.- Collaborated with page layout designs for editorial features and advertorials for the magazines, including executing design amendments and sourcing stock images and illustrations for features.
