    I had worked for Souza Cruz from march/1978 until jan/2016, and during this period of time I held the following positions:• Head of Laboratory (1978-1980)• Laboratory Researcher I / Snr (1980-1988)• Research Assistant I / Snr (Executive position) – (1989-1995)• Scientific Researcher I / II (Executive Position) – (1995 -2000)• Manager of Especial Analysis Laboratory (Executive Position) - (2000-2005)• Product and Process Technology Manager (Executive position) - (2005-2007).• Product Technology Manager (Executive Position) (2007- 2010)• Product Technology Specialist II - (Executive Position) (2010)• Manager of Patents, Continuity and Information Management Area (Executive position) (2010- 2015)In Jan/2016 I retired.Along the years I have worked in different types of projects and areas of Product Center Americas, which gave me a large knowledge about research, risk reduction, Tobacco and Smoke chemistry, Industrial area, Leaf and several related subjects. Having also working for 9 years with the intellectual property subject, I have expertize in taking decisions on innovation protection, also establishing guides aiming regional enhacement of procedures related to this area of business and contributing to the establishment of Souza Cruz's Patent Policy. From 2013 on, I had been in charge of Information Management Area as well.

    I had worked as an Intern in the Environmental Radioprotection Lab (1975), before joining officially to IRD.From 1976 on, I worked as an analyst, in the control for radionuclides fallout from global nuclear weapons testing, performing several assays in food and environmental samples.
