This position is considered one of the city's highest literary honors and empowers high school students to promote community activism through poetry. - Commissioned to perform original spoken word poetry at events around the Bay Area, including the official 75th anniversary commemoration of the UN (see "Projects") and the YWCA Inspire Awards ft. Dolores Huerta and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. - Led a series of community poetry workshops on art as activism with 400+ total student/peer participants; edited, published, and distributed an anthology containing 101 of the poems generated during the aforementioned workshop series (see "Projects") which was a #1 New Release on Amazon.
