    The Town Clerk is the hub that keeps the wheel turning so I do pretty much whatever is needed.I use the computer to produce the Town's Newsletter, good phone skills, typing is a little slow but I get it done correctly. I also issue Business Licenses, Building Permits, and do all check requests, pick up mail from P.O. Box and date stamp and sort to Addressees, sort all bills and then do check request to give to Town Treasurer to produce check and then I see that it gets mailed. At our Town meetings, I am responsible for the minutes being prepared for the meeting and saved for the annual audit.

    At Hot Shoppes, I was a Vegetable Cook which meant I was responsible for preparing the vegetables of the day each day.(clean and cook) and if the Chef was backed up with his work I was to help him.In private homes I vacuumed floors and carpet, washed and waxed Kitchen and Bathroom floors, sometimes put clothes in washer and dryer and folded them when done.
