Served as co-creative lead on multiple Bayer OTC products, including One A Day Vitamins, Vitacraves Vitamins, Flintstones Vitamins, Trubiotics, Citracal, Midol, and Aleve Cold & Sinus, as well as Dial and Wrigley’s Winterfresh. With my copywriter partner, I was responsible for all consumer advertising and was the creative steward of brand in terms of look, feel, message, and execution. Strategized concept from brief level and managed/inspired creative teams assigned to work. I helped bring new business into agency, retain existing business, and added new brands from clients' portfolios to agency roster. Built strong brands by building strong creative platforms. For example:o Citracal: Turned around declining calcium supplement category by redefining Citracal's role in anti-aging support. Developed unique tone, iconography, graphic, and equity uniquely tied to Citracal, with youthful, healthy x-rays revealing themselves to be older women. Reflected platform at multiple touchpoints like TV, web, PR, and website relaunch of Oprah.com, resulting in Citracal sales surpassing all other calcium supplements and increased awareness among women of importance of bone health. o Midol: Created the Midol Lounge, a comedy club for women only. Advertising results: Brand outperformed every other menstrual pain reliever. o Bayer Diabetes Care: Created “Simple Wins,” a 360-program aimed at simplifying the lives of diabetics, with its mission beginning at the corporate level. o Wrigley's Winterfresh: Grew Wrigley’s Winterfresh Gum into one of Wrigley portfolio’s top performers. Gave gum badge value among teens by creating the Winterfresh Network, a true social platform; teens generated content for print, TV, radio, and web. Created unified user experience, collaborating with web developers, event marketers, PR, broadcast TV, print, and radio, creating one voice and vision for brand, resulting in Winterfresh being recognized as one of the top-ten teen brands.

Created work for Gatorade, John Morrell, Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Popeye's Fried Chicken, NEC, Lawn Boy mowers and U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's anti-smoking campaign. Translated creative brief into a message that was both relatable and compelling to target. I selected and led teams of photographers, typographers, illustrators and directors and acted as art buyer on all projects, purchasing art and illustration, retouching, and typography. Every project came in on time and on budget.

A fun lineup, right? Collaborated with copywriter partner to generate initial campaign concepts and created comps for presentation (yes, I can draw). Designed and produced finished work and brought all projects in on time and on budget.
