    Supreme Court Barrister (1994)Tax specialist, advises major international oil companies on petroleum taxation in Norway, specialist in transfer pricing, international taxation, tax litigation:Eirik Jensen has for many years been a petroleum tax advisor to Norske Conoco, and after the merger, to Norske ConocoPhillips/ ConocoPhillips Scandinavia. He also advises other oil companies and international as well as Norwegian clients. He is particularly experienced in petroleum tax litigation and has litigated many large petroleum tax cases on behalf of oil companies, two of which have been successfully litigated before the Supreme Court. He also litigates tax disputes on behalf of the Norwegian State - Region East (Skatt Øst) and the Central Office for Large Companies (Sentralskattekontoret for storbedrifter). Eirik Jensen also has experience in litigating construction disputes on behalf of oil companies, both before the ordinary courts and in arbitration. He lived in the US during his childhood/youth and speaks fluent English. Eirik Jensen is ranked by Chambers and described as “a leading light in oil and gas tax”.
