During my period at Hamax the company increased annual turnover from 78 mill. NOK to 125 mill. NOK. At the same time the company was made economically sound and profitable. The company develops, manufactures and is selling bicycle accessories, children skis, helmets and sledging related products. Around 80% is export sales. Responsible for all sales and marketing, including business plan & sales strategy development. Key account for int. key customers like METRO, Decathlon, TESCO, Auchan, TARGET, LIDL, ALDI, ICA and XXL.Building of a product brand for an international setting with limited resources available. The work covered fields like product markings, obtaining editorials, product development with investment analysis in terms of profitability/ROI. Always considering the demands of each individual market, such as logistics, packaging, configuration, pricing, markings etc. Developed a forecast system handling both production and sub-suppliers with special focus on avoiding the amount of unsalable goods or ”dead stocks”. Outsourcing of internal production facility. Benchmarking and implementation of production units, mainly to Asia but also Sweden, East Europe and Germany.

I established new sales channels in various markets; German speaking countries, East European countries, Russia and USA/Canada. Sales increased in all those countries. I participated during the purchase of the Swedish company Plasten AB and worked closely to integrate this company into the Hamax system. I was the project manager developing and implementing a new corporate identity including a new website as well as B2B / B2C portals in Germany. Project manager of developing new Corporate Identity, containing sales & marketing materials, website, product range, packaging, catalogue etc..
