      I joined the Community Foundation for Calderdale just before the devastating floods his the Calder Valley on Boxing Day 2015. I was therefore immediately responsible for helping to raise money for the Flood Fund and for helping individuals and businesses who were directly affected by the floods. We raised a total of £2.3 million, most of which was match-funded by the Government. My time at the Community Foundation was an amazing experience and one that I will never forget.
