Unfortunately, due to the Covid 19 Crisis I was made redundant in July 2020. Whilst disappointed to be leaving my current role in this manner, I am excited for a new opportunity and challenge. • The role as Estates Project Manager was to manage projects at seven student accommodation sites situated across London, also working from the head office based at Leicester Square. • The project could vary from all or some sites having multiple projects at the same time, as well as planning for up and coming project as the head office. This needed me to manage my time management and workload, making sure all deliverables where completed on time and on budget.

• Completing all facility management tasks, making sure the school was fully compliant at all times. • Managing a team of cleaners and a maintenance assistant, who was deaf. This was an experience for me learning ways to communicate. The ways we used were some sign language, which he taught me, as well as communicating via text message and using a dial in system where a person would communicate with speech for me and sign for my maintenance assistant.

I owned a Handyman company for 5 years. Working for schools and private customers. The works covered carpentry, painting and decorating, plastering - rendering, general electrics and plumbing. The company started as a hobby, but grew due to word of mouth, which gave me the opportunity to try my hand at being self employed.
