Boychuk was Convergent's Technology and Account Manager for the State of Michigan's Department of Technology Management and Budget for almost seventeen years. Convergent still holds the exclusive contract for designing and project managing the State of Michigan's telecommunications and ICT projects. He was also responsible for Convergent's marketing strategic planning, business development, marketing material development and bid support. Boychuk designed, specified, project managed and project documented the telecommunication infrastructure, pathways, communication rooms and fiber/copper cabling for the Hall of Justice, the new home of the Supreme Court of Michigan and the Michigan Court of Appeals at the Capital Complex in Lansing. Two years. He provided those same ICT services working with the State Infrastructure Specialist, the state's one and only RCDD, for Project Cadilllac Place, the 1.3 million square foot Detroit State Office building which was previously owned by General Motors and was GM's Corporation Head Office Building. The building still is a National Historic Landmark, listed in 1985. Two and a half years.
