Scope of work included Single Mode as well as Multi-Mode fiber design, as well as structured cable design to serve in excess of 3000 workstations and/or instruments. The scope of design, required design recommendations to WAMNET, as well as placement of all Routers, Servers, and Active Network Components. Design of new amendments to the existing UG Manhole system, Cable Infrastructure, and complete Audit of existing facilities, was planned, approved, and designed to Military Standards, and final design was implemented. All elements of proposed work were built and lit up, without revision, and is operational currently. All aspects of the design provided for full redundancy, disaster recovery, and placement of full encryption of throughput according to the RFP, under contract to General Dynamics Corp for the United States Navy. Program implementation also included the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific, which is one of the two Nuclear Weapons assembly facilities for the US Military, as well as the Delta Pier and Dry Dock for the Trident Submarines. The requirements for access to all of the highest security areas of Sub Base Bangor, were of paramount concern to General Dynamics, as my credentials would have to pass high scrutiny.
