    As the Programme Manager (PM) for the Rural Development Programme i am responsible for Norwegian People’s Aid’s (NPA) activities and projects related to rural development response in South Sudan. As a PM i report to the Country Director of NPA South Sudan, as well in close contact with NPA International Programme Department at Head Office (HO) in Oslo. Duties includes, leading the planning and implementation of project activities and set high quality performance targets ensuring NPA and partner adherence to technical standards, best practices, NPA strategic objectives and donor guidelines; being part of the senior management team for NPA South Sudan, taking co-responsibility for overall development of NPA South Sudan and synergies with other programmes and supporting the CD and management team with relevant context and political analysis, in particular in the sectors in which the programme is active. Also, i have the responsibility of day to day management of budgets for the programme, and overall budget and technical responsibility for the programme in compliance with NPA’s Financial Handbook and donor requirements.

    I led the overall management of the USAID funded FEEDS programme in Sierra Leone while directing the preparation of annual plans and oversee the quality production of reports and other deliverable in a timely, quality and accurate manner. Ensure smooth operations and direct management of all food security activities, including international and national commodity management and logistics oversight. Accountable for project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in a manner consistent with Save the Children’s working principles and ensure that program objectives and key indicators/results are delivered. Ensure that efficient systems are in place to support all aspects of project activity, including financial and grant management and project monitoring and evaluation, and that they support the effective use of project resources in compliance with donor regulations. Oversee the dissemination of reports related to project activities. Represent Save the Children and the project in formal and informal relationships with USAID, local and international partners, government authorities and other key stakeholders, as appropriate. Maintain good working relationships with officials and other humanitarian actors. Represent SC at the Cash working group and other working groups including but not limited to FSLWG and CALP. Ensure representatives and leaders at the national, government, and community levels are informed of program progress and best practices
