Additionally taught for Brigham Young University(Training design and evaluation in HR development program); Weber State (Leadership in MBA program); Wayne State (Leadership in seminar program); Webster University, (Leadership and Training and development in MBA/HR program at Hill AFB); LDS Business College (Entrepreneurship,and HR Management in management program) and others.Includes twenty seven years as a lecturer in the renowned MANAGEMENT OF MANAGERS seminars at the University of Michigan, and MAKING THE TRAINING PROCESS work, also at U. of M.. The best selling book Making the Process work came out of that seminar. (Co-taught and co-authored with Don Michalak.)

Served as Director of Training and Management Development in the Design and Engineering Center, in Parts and Distribution, and at corporate offices as an Internal Corporate Consultant, Training Manager, and Organization Development Manager.During the years of service in the Corporate Training and Development Group served as one of a small group of internal consultants to division and plant trainers. In this capacity we attended for evaluation and certification purposes nearly every commercial training program available. This included many of the ground breaking programs like Kepner-Tregoe (gained certification), Xerox Problem Solving Discussion Skills (PSDS), Wilson Learning, AT&T Training Center, Center For Creative Leadership, Development Dimensions and others, and contracted for evaluation or workshops with Peter Drucker, W. Edwards Deming, George Odiorne, B.F. Skinner, Carl Rogers, Fred Herzberg, Douglas Bray, William Byham, Cabot Jafee,and others, gaining an incredible education in the process.Left Ford to form consulting company along with other Ford professionals. Ford subsequently became one of our largest clients along with over 200 others including AT&T, G.M., Boise Cascade, Citi Corp, Simplot, etc.

This self directed, at you own pace combination of step by step text learning and experiential proof of competency used for new sales persons was developed with Dr. Gearry Rummler at the University of Michigan, and led to thousands of additional courses and training programs around the country using the techniques of Programmed Learning.
