We are a 501(c)(3) charitable entity, with grant writers ready to start finding funds for homeless, wounded and other vets who have passed their VA eligibility, helping them to gain certifications which will boost their ability to get GOOD jobs after someone else gets them off the street. Also targeting blind persons in the food business, vets or not, and supporting the activities of the Military Hospitality Alliance, which Ed founded, and which hosts a Military Culinary Competition and the Enlisted Aide of the Year Award, both held annually in Washington, DC. Companies who want to join the effort can offer funds from THEIR (c)(3).

I created the Military Hospitality Alliance in order to focus attention on the special needs of military food service personnel, and also to put them in contact with the civilian world. Also co-created the Military Culinary Competition and the Enlisted Aide of the Year Award, both starting in 2003 and both held in Washington DC. We recently held the 10th culinary competition and 11th enlisted aide award. At the end of 2013, we have given just over $100,000 in prize money to military personnel.
