    Finance Director, 1995 – 1999 | Vice President, 1999 – 2008 | President, 2008 – 2011§ Led the 54,900 member educational advocacy and political organization and managed staff of 20 full-time employees.§ Ensured visibility, recognition, credibility and the advancement of Iowans for Tax Relief (ITR) views and positions at all levels of state government, media, and the community including advocating on ITR’s behalf before the executive and legislative branches of government.§ Increased Iowans for Tax Relief Political Action Committee revenues from less than $100,000 in 1994 to more than $450,000 in 2010.§ Developed major donor personal solicitation program, implementing process of prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and ongoing stewardship.§ Provided political campaign management and consultation to state legislative candidates.§ Directed endowment management of Tax Education Support Organization, Tax Education Foundation, and Iowans for Tax Relief. These organizations had combined annual revenue of $2.45 million in 2010.§ Managed organizational public relations program; including two periodic publications, issue based membership communications, media releases, annual systematic direct mail and telemarketing campaigns.§ Directed special events for all organizations. Includes statewide dinners and receptions in Iowa, annual Iowa Taxpayers’ Day, and semi-annual Board of Directors meetings.
