I integrated a DJI S-1000 small UAS into the meteorological research programs for NOAA's Air Resources Laboratory. We have flown over 40 flights that include instrument testing at Knox County Radio Control Society's model flying field, a convective initiation study, and the VORTEX-SE project. I integrated the instruments, flew the aircraft, processed the data, and produced data reports for each of these projects.I have performed mechanical design and hardware & software integration for several generations of the Best Aircraft Turbulence (BAT) probe. I have developed real-time data acquisition and analysis software to measure boundary-layer fluxes of mass, momentum, and energy from several small environmental research aircraft. I participated as a pilot, mechanical engineer, and programmer for multiple research campaigns using full-scale aircraft from 1994-2001. I have also built several custom websites to display real-time meteorological data. For an example of my web programming see: http://www.eddumas.com/kcrc/ For a NOAA Scientist Profile about me, see: http://research.noaa.gov/News/NewsArchive/LatestNews/TabId/684/ArtMID/1768/ArticleID/11686/Dumas-Ed.aspx
