    Manager of 320,000 square feet under roof facility in addition to outdoor storage. Currently we have about 60 associates at this location. The Tulsa service center is a 24-hour operation. Operational responsibility for safety, quality, inbound/outbound shipments totaling 20,000 tons per month, maintenance, inventory, fabrication, HR and training. • Oversight of continuous improvement projects such as the implementation of SAP and SAP PM.• Successfully implemented batch management for inventory control.• Assisted in developing the Daily Schedule Control (DSC) to track employee efficiency, which lead to increased production and decreased headcount by 35%.• Oversight of capital improvement projects such as the installation of the largest tube laser in North America and adding an additional 180,000 square foot warehouse.• Served as interim manager for 14 months in Longview Texas, managing an additional 35 associates. Also spent four months in Houston Texas, managing an additional 35, all while maintaining role as Kansas City manager. • Increased production by 30% first year as warehouse manager.• Continuously volunteers to test all new programs and procedures Steel and Pipe is considering such as SAP PM, centralized routing, inbound scheduling, new time keeping and reporting procedures. • Created joint safety committee with transportation partner and service center to promote safer loads and create a united focus. • Built strong relationships with various teams throughout Steel and Pipe including; sales, purchasing, traffic, HR and the executive team.• Motivate and create teams to achieve peak performance, client satisfaction, maintain quality service and meet operational goals. • Coordinate various employee appreciation events, each year, to recognize team’s hard work.
