Unless You Will Studio is a creative studio specialising in design and communications. I was asked to support the launch of their new digital journal ‘Unless You Will Journal - Issue 31’. This involved developing a full digital advertising strategy for Facebook and Instagram, development of brand messaging, writing ad-copy and advising on UX best practice.

Antipodeans is an adventure travel company that works with schools and universities to create extraordinary people through purposeful travel experiences. As Head of Marketing, I was responsible for developing and executing Antipodeans’ overall brand strategy as well as brand image and positioning.In this role I worked closely with all departments to ensure individual program strategies aligned with the overarching company objectives. I lead the large-scale project of refreshing the historical Antipodeans brand into something more modern, youth focussed and premium. Through this project I was instrumental in developing Antipodeans’ new core ethos of ‘Leadership, Resilience and Mindfulness,’ as well as a new logo, style guide and collateral overhaul. I was heavily involved in running insightful wide-reaching research projects with key stakeholders and was able to complete a highly successful website redevelopment and relaunch. Following this, I embarked on multiple international trips to create premium video and photo content with the aim to engage and inspire our young audiences (and their parents too!).Managing a small marketing team along with various external suppliers, I juggled both high end strategy development and implementation with consistent delivery of hands-on projects. Antipodeans was awarded Travel Brand of the Year in 2019 in the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards, a huge honour and achievement that reflected years of belief and hard work. I was also able to broaden my experience through a 3-month secondment to California, supporting the development of Antipodeans’ USA sister company, Unearthed Travel.

During my studies of holistic nutrition I launched a healthy lifestyle blog, Every Healthy Day, to combine my passion for writing, travel, food and healthy living. As an early entrant into the ‘food blog’ space in 2013, the website’s reach grew rapidly over the next two years. This passion project that was put on hold in 2016 due to my growing commitments in my role at Antipodeans.
