The group is Private Equity backed.In January 2016 the group merged with Swift Worldwide Resources to form Airswift, a $1.2b turnover group with 57 operating locations, more than 800 staff and supporting a deployed international workforce of over 6,000.Reporting to the Group Chairman and Board I was responsible for leading the Executive Management Team in the development and execution of long term strategy with a view to increasing shareholder value. I was ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the group's long and short term plans.Key achievements as Group CEO included:- Delivery of significant growth and shareholder returns leading diversification/development of the business involving client base, geographies, service lines and 3 acquisitions. - Continued the professionalisation of the organisation required by PE ownership whilst retaining the entrepreneurial culture of the business. During my tenure as CEO the group won many awards including BVCA North West International Impact Management Team of the year 2010,2011 & 2012, BVCA National Exit Management Team of the Year 2013 and Recruiter Best Engineering Recruitment Agency 2014. - Completion of primary and secondary Private Equity transactions (2009 and 2012) and securing of significant global banking facilities (2010, 2012 and 2013)- Prime role in completion of Airswift merger supporting the deal making process but also leading the integration planning work up to and post completion. Deal involved retention of existing incumbent PE investors (1 US based and 1 UK based) and 4 banking providers (2 global working capital providers and 2 senior debt providers based in both US and UK)
