CFO role for Brisbane Entertainment Centre from 2011 to 2022. Part of senior management team since 2007. Led a team of 6 to 7 dedicated permanent team members across day-to-day accounting, full end-to-end payroll for 500 staff, oversaw all people and culture / human resources / EBA issues, implementation of business systems (including rostering, inductions, payroll and point of sale / EFTPOS), all event accounting, monthly reporting to government, business planning, budgeting, capital expenditure submissions, quality assurance (ISO9001:2015) and general contract management / business advice. Also included was a full cage / treasury / cashroom function with around 15 to 20 casual staff. An incredible experience with so many talented team members across the Centre and ASM Global group .... no two days were ever the same!

Role was to assist the team with the set up and mentor team members new to the industry. Set up of various financial systems (including Dynamics GP, NCR POS, Micropay Meridian payroll, budgeting and management reporting templates). Assisted with settlements, reporting and ticketing reconciliations for the first Hopman Cup (now ATP Cup) held at the venue.Completed review and benchmarking of all food and beverage margins, retail per-capita and corporate suite spends. Acted as interim Business Manager during the recruitment and transition to new team members.
