I am Dr. Qudrat Ullah Khan, pursuing Postdoc (2019/01–2021/04) from the Institute of Microscale and optoelectronics, Shenzhen University, China. My current research focuses on “functional materials synthesis for flexible electronic/optoelectronic devices”. Briefly, the research project focuses on the synthesis of functional materials, perovskite materials, and carbon dots synthesis for organic flexible electronic/optoelectronic devices such as memory devices, thin-film transistors, solar cells, OLED, and electrochemical sensor applications, etc. The deliverables of this project are quite interesting and have manifold novel findings for future studies. Moreover, some of the remarkable findings have been published and submitted to well-indexed journals. Based on the availability and feasibility of the chemicals and instruments in the current Lab, I am also engaged in the synthesis of nanocomposites for metals adsorption from water reservoirs, synthesis of nanoscale electrocatalyst for remarkable Hydrogen evolution reaction, as well as the synthesis of pure organic compounds and their biological applications.Currently, I am looking for a research associate / Research Assistant professor or even 2nd Postdoc position in any reputable research institute for the future development of academics and research profile.

During PhD, I have best research expertise and skills in materials synthesis, structural modifications, polymer chemistry, structural elucidation of organic synthetic molecules and morphology oriented supra-molecular studies of functional polyimides, perylene diimides and imides. As a researcher, I have been systematically investigated the role of Porphyrinated functional polyimides and Donor-Acceptor imides for the memory storage applications. And was successful to synthesize number of porphyrin-based polyimide polymers, oligomers and small molecules and investigated the structural-properties correlation effect on the memory performance of the Functional polyimides, on the other hand I always worked very hard and completed several projects including triphenylamine and carbazole based Imides, and Perylene diimides for photo-physical and electrochemical applications. Above all, I proved himself as an intellectual capital of my lab and efficiently managed the progression of intra-molecular donor-acceptor ratio variation and effect of metal work function on the memory performance of the novel synthesized polyimides and imides in during PhD studies, which was a landmark project for me.
