National Foundation for Australian Women is an independent feminist organisation that carries a voice outside of party politics and an ability to function on a broad national basis. It forms partnerships with other women’s organisations to connect and amplify important messages around societal issues affecting women in Australia. It is a dynamic multicultural voice for all women, crossing social and societal boundaries with respect for elders past and present. As Company Secretary, I ensure that the NFAW meets its obligations under the Corporations Act and Charities regulations, and act as Chair of the NFAW Management Committee. I also manage events, including the NFAW Annual Press Club Dinner and the Pamela Denoon Lecture, which is Australia's longest running and most prestigious feminist lecture.
