    I joined 3D Lab, School of Earth and Ocean Sciences, Cardiff University in 2010 as a PhD research student. Before starting his PhD, I worked as a Geophysicist with OGDCL (2004-2010) the E&P Company of Pakistan in the Offshore Department. He has also worked as a QC Geophysicist during 2D and 3D marine seismic data acquisition in the Indus, offshore Pakistan.My PhD research project is on the geophysical expression of free gas in marine sediments, focussing on seismic anomalies and how they relate to fluid flow.

    Worked with a group of researchers, under supervision of Dr. Peter Clift Professor at University of Aberdeen, UK on the structural and stratigraphic interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data of Arabian Sea for my PhD research. I joined University of Aberdeen on March 2010 for the period of six month.Plus 6 years work experience at Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), from April 2004 to September 29, 2010.Worked as an Assistant Geophysicist in OGDCL. This period includes one year of various on-job trainings and attachments including field Seismic Data Processing and Acquisition at different Fields of OGDCL; Attachments in different disciplines such as Geology, Geophysics and Computer. Actively participated in Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing of the data acquired at Dhudyal and Bagh (Punjab Province) Hala, Qadirpur and Norai Jagir (Sind Province, Pakistan).
