I oversaw the evaluation, acquisition, management and disposal of commercial real estate for a unique company model. BSI was one of the earliest and largest barter companies. Examples of my work include trading $1,000,000 in long distance phone credit for part of the purchase price of a large multistory office complex in Philadelphia, using two truckloads of three-ring binders as down payment on a commercial office building in OKC and acquiring almost all contractual work on a barter basis. As part of this process is was often necessary to develop and write unique contracts to satisfy all parties.
