    Title: Neuroprotective effect of decaffeinated green coffee extract against rotenone induced invitro and invivo model of Parkinson's Disease  To carry out preliminary studies on neuroprotective effect of dGCE against rotenone induced cellular model of PD by assessing the cell viability by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiaozol-2yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, levels of ROS, alterations in MMP, apoptotic morphological changes by dual staining and protein expressions of apoptotic indices. To fix the effective dose of dGCE by assessing the neurochemical and oxidant-antioxidant parameters in rotenone induced rat model of PD To study the therapeutic efficacy of dGCE on rotenone induced behavioral (motor and non motor) impairments.  To elucidate the effect of dGCE on the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), dopamine transporter (DAT), vesicular monoamine transporter (VMAT-2) by western blot analysis in the SN and ST of rotenone induced PD rats To evaluate the influence of dGCE on the expression of α-synuclein by western blot analysis in the SN and ST of rotenone induced PD rats To find out the anti-inflammatory role of dGCE on the expression of inflammatory markers by western blot analysis in the SN and ST of rotenone induced PD rats
