Responsible for all financial accounting for the REACH Project. Including monitoring expenditures of funds and comparison of budgetary items. Purchase office supplies, purchase and distribute items for use by program participants. Prepare requisitions for expenditures, calculate drawdowns from United States Department of Labor (USDOL), and summarize REACH Project expenditures from Okefenokee Technical College and Southwest Georgia Technical College (partner colleges). Communicate with Allied Health Tutors, Vice Presidents of Administrative Services, and Directors of Accounting at partner colleges. Work closely with allied health tutors and REACH Project Director regarding reporting of data and necessary file documentation. Prepared forms in conjunction with the Director to be used with the REACH Project. Communicate with Federal Project Officer regarding various questions, reporting of data, leveraged resources, summarization of data, etc. Meet with participants (students) and assist with financial aid issues, budget issues, instructor issues, personal financial issues and assist with solutions to these problems. Entered third-party contracts in Banner. Assisted Administrative Services staff with other duties as assigned.
