I have been part of the Out of Scope Project which is now winding down with a view to closing in March thisyear. We have been involved with the assessment and costing for repairs of earthquake damage to theexternal features of residential properties covered by the former AMI insurance company in Canterbury.I have personally been specializing in the assessment of swimming pools and farm claims involving theprocurement of contractor quotations and Engineers inspections as required.A large proportion of repairs have been carried out by contractors managed and supervised by Arrow withthe remainder of clients being cash settled for their loss.Duties have included -- Assessment of earthquake damage and preparation of fully costed schedule of works, sketches andphotographic evidence for presentation to Southern Response.- Monitoring of Health and Safety on sites and contractor compliance- Contracting of repair works along with supervision and quality control of works.- Evaluation and approval of contractor variations, progress and final invoice payments- Liaison with Southern Response teams, clients and contractors- Procurement of quotations and third party inspections for complex and high value repairs- Large amount of computer work both in the office and field using internal systems and Aconexcommunication- Working to KPI's and deadlines

The $1m expansion of an existing logistics warehouse on a former industrial site. The build involved theextension of an existing chiller and cold store including additional truck loading bays and a large externalconcrete hardstanding area. This build was a challenge with start delays, building consent problems and aclient deadline for building occupation.

The latest project was the construction of a new £32 million school in Dunfermline, Fife. A 1600 pupil education facility involving the demolition of an existing school and the construction of a new steel framed structure with associated roads, parking ,soft landscaping and sports facilities.
