The Games are a mini Olympic for school aged athletes and included 11 sports across 18 venues and 10 days with athletes from 10 countries and every state and territory in Australia. The Games are a little unique in that it includes an education c=ompenet that all athletes and some parents nd officials participate in. This management saw increases in participation in individuals and countries.

Highlight was significantly increasing the local fundraising from the annual Walk event and developing and launching a new event the Ride to Cure Diabetes that attracted many interstate and international participants. My role as well as the event development and management included securing Jacobs Creek as the main sponsor. This is now a major annual event on JDRFs fundraising calendar.
