My husband, David and I are opening an outreach center in the town of Barstow, CA. Even though the Salvation Army does many services we are assessing what is needed in the community before setting up.

My job for the Salvation Army has greatly varied through the years. As an Officer I have done what ever was needed from office work, accounting, fund raising, social work, disaster work, programs for youth and adults. The Salvation Army has a high standard in its business practices. I am proud to be working for them as an Officer.

As a chaplain I would receive calls to families that needed support and counseling during crisis of a death or accident. I was there first female chaplain. It was a great honor.

As a pastor's wife I was active in giving support to my husbands ministry. I taught children and women classes. I designed a children's church program called "Rainbow Corners" and set it up in several churches. We also Evangelized at youth camps and churches with our ministry for Families and children.
