I was on 1 month contract and my role involved entering and uploading invoices into the accounting system along with sorting, coding and matching invoices to purchase orders. I also reviewed all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Furthermore, it is my responsibility to process invoices for payment once approval is obtained and process electronic transfers. I was also involved in preparing & performing reconciliations between payments, invoices & vendor statements. Lastly, it is my responsibility to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
