Athletes are the foundation of the Red Bull brand. Their exceptional stories, successes, and sport innovations authentically deliver the brand personality and product efficacy to consumers on a daily basis. This position is a key member of the Southwest Sports Marketing Team. That group is responsible for the largest athlete roster in the United States as well as the most visited market from foreign (national outside of the Southwest Region and international) athletes. Specifically, this role leverages the 150+ visiting athletes in the market, support partnerships, and ideates and creates unique and impactful projects to reach consumers regionally, nationally and internationally.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Amplify the robust global roster of visiting athletes to the southwest region anticipating 150+ visits in 2020 (60%) a. Build a plan to ensure we are getting the most out of the 150+ visiting athletes working with all departments in Red Bull b. Develop comprehensive athlete calendars for visibility and planning working with all of the AMM in the US and the rest of the world in order to get the most out of the visiting athletes when they are in the southwest region c. Coordinate athlete request from digital, communications, brand, on premise, etc. d. Conceptualize and execute ideas for visiting athlete projects and activations in the southwest region that celebrate the region 2. Partnership support (20%)a. Support the national/global partnerships happening in the region with visiting athletes, athlete activations, content opportunities b. Partnerships include but not limited to: Clippers, Camp Woodward, Alterra (Mammoth and Big Bear Mountain Resorts), World Surf League (US Open and WSL Wave Pool)
