• Managed implementation of emergency health and other development health programs of IRC Ethiopia country office, in collaboration with health coordinator and emergency rapid response team. IRC Ethiopia responds to health emergency in all regions of Ethiopia. The projects I managed include Emergency Response Mechanism (ERM) in Ethiopia, Core Group Polio Project (CGPP) focusing on community based surveillance on polio, measles and neonatal tetanus, and integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) of childhood illnesses.• I am working as Country Emergency Core team (CET) member for IRC Ethiopia country office leading health and nutrition emergency response and managing all its activities and human resources aimed to respond to announced emergencies within 72 hours. • Supported and Provided training on Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM), rapid response, cholera case management and Cholera Treatment Center (CTC) establishment, Dengue fever case management and prevention and control, emergency nutrition (Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), Targeted Supplementary Feeding program (TSFP), and Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program (BSFP)), expanded program on immunization (EPI), immunization in practice, cold chain users training, and refrigerator maintenance training for government health workers and IRC staffs. -• Developed and adopt standardized rapid emergency assessment tools (as per the federal emergency health assessment guidelines and sphere standards) and provided training for IRC and Government health staffs on it, in collaboration with relevant sector coordinators.• Led different health out break response including its investigation (Measles, cholera, meningitis, and malaria epidemic) in different region of the Ethiopia (Beneshangule gumuz, Gambella, Somali Region, South Nation Nationality Regions of Ethiopia and part of Oromia region).

: I was effectively designed, managed and monitored Strengthen Community Response on HIV/AIDS (SCRHA) project, documenting and disseminating its experience to the other project sites Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), preparing monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual project report to the Donor. Provision of training, supportive supervision and mentoring of project staff. And Organizing review meetings and planning workshop at national and regional level with CSOs and government stakeholders. Developing Project proposals and submitting to the donor and negotiating on the project appraisal. Assess the organizational capacity of local NGO and filling their gap depending on the identified gap. I was provided technical support to local NGOs (Sub grantee) on Project proposal preparation, in networking with District and Zonal health office. As a project manager I was responsible to supervise 37 project staff having different discipline like project officers, M & E Officers, finance officers and nurse supervisors.
