I originate higher leverage senior bridge loans, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity investments for proprietary capital nationwide for value-add real estate opportunities in the $10-$100MM range. Deep experience in structured real estate capital formation. Have worked on major asset types (multi-family, office, industrial, and retail) as well as more specialty including condominium, resort, hotels, gaming and land. Beyond capital raising, I can assist in other areas needed in order to strengthen the deal, i.e supplementing sponsor net worth/liquidity, operator experience, etc. In addition to deal sourcing, have had asset management and client relations roles.

My role covered new business development, acquisitions, joint ventures and financings. I led all new business efforts on making new investments in geographic region of Northeast US and Eastern Canada. Invested in institutional quality assets and development opportunities on behalf of pension fund clients and sovereign wealth funds. Sourced opportunites, managed two associates on underwriting/due diligence/closing. Made all presentations to internal and external Investment committees. Copley Real Estate Advisors was a leading equity real estate advisor to pension funds and had approx $10B in assets under management. In 1994 Copley merged with AEW Capital Management. My role at Copley involved joint ventures, development and asset management. I had various geographic responsibiliites including the Southwest, Mid-West and East Coast and worked on primary asset types (office, retail, industrial,multi-family, hotel). Major projects included the development of CBD office towers in Boston (150 Federal St , and Hines JV on 500 Boylston St and 222 Berkeley St.) and development of over 2mm sf of office/R&D space along the Baltimore/Washington corridor with Manekin Development. In addition, I was part of the team to underwrite/diligence and close on the $2B Cadillac Fairview portfolio of US office assets.
